What gets approved
The Gravity team reviews every app and every update before it goes live. Here’s what we look for, so yours gets through first time.
It has to be yours
Send in things you made, or your studio made. If you used someone else’s pictures, music or code, you need their OK, and you should say so in the credits. Apps named after famous games (or using their logos) get sent back with a request to rename them.
It has to work
- The link opens on a school Chromebook, when you’re signed out.
- Players can try it without making an account. If they must sign up, say so and we’ll warn them.
- It isn’t a blank page, a test or a “coming soon”.
It has to be OK for school
- No swearing, bullying, scary or grown-up content.
- No open chat or messaging with strangers. FindMy can’t list chat apps.
- It doesn’t ask for anyone’s password, address, phone number or photos.
Show it off
Add a clear square icon, at least one screenshot, and a description that says what players actually do. “Best game ever” doesn’t tell anyone anything. “Drift a pickup across three desert tracks and beat your friends’ lap times” does.
How long it takes
Most apps are reviewed within two school days. If something needs fixing, you’ll see exactly what in your creator studio, and you can send it again.
